Cleveland has an orchestra!!

(kind of a late B-Day gift to me)

Randy Newman performed Saturday night with the full CSO at a great concert venue.
Lots of hits along with scores from "The Natural" and "Toy Story".



"I Miss You" was a song written to

his ex-wife.....
great song....

and with the orchestra behind him I was
crying like Julia Roberts.

Mr. James P. Farrell was the first one in this week with
James Maury "Jim" Henson.

--The Muppet creator was born in Greenville, Mississippi.

--He died of pneumonia at age 53...

only weeks after this Arsenio Hall clip above.

--He didn't want to go to the hospital....or impose on anyone for help.

--He died just days before selling the Muppets to Disney.

--Had two Hollywood Stars...one for him...one for Kermit.

--No one was allowed to wear black at his funeral.

--The pic....it's not "easy being green".

Worth it to watch "Clifford" at the end of this Arsenio clip.....

Clifford is voiced by Kevin Clash...who also voices ELMO.
