--Started in radio by hosting a Little League Radio show in NY....
and the rest is history.

--OK...so here is where I threw you off....in 1975 he starred in a show called "Saturday Night Live" (...but NOT THAT SNL)..on ABC which was a type of musical variety show which did co-star Bill Murray, Billy Crystal, Brian Doyle-Murray who were all called the Prime Time Players.
After the show was cancelled after 18 episodes....
they eventually ended up on NBC's SNL and were renamed the "Not-Ready" for Prime Time Players.

--Guests on Howard's show included Frank Sinatra...Barry Manilow....Aretha.....and the Bay City Rollers!!

--During a Monday Night Football telecast on 12/9/80...he announced John Lennon's death to the MNF audience...of which I was one after just coming in from work.

Boys Night Out.......

I don't remember going to this type of celebration in my H.S. years.....
but maybe my grades had something to do with it at the time.

Dan's College Tuition nest egg in Vegas this week......
Dan and I attended the "TOP 10% of Class Banquet" for the LTHS 2010 Seniors last night....
held at DiNolfo's in Homer Glen.
I think he is leaning towards becoming a Fighting Leatherneck
at Western Illinois this fall......story still developing.

"Illinois State Scholar" was also not next to my name in the yearbook.....
Dan has done himself and us proud!

But...
he needs to remember...
He may be smarter....
but as the photo shows....
I still have a couple of inches and at least a couple of pounds on him.

Belushi claimed that Newmar was trying to drive him from his home by blaring loud music directed at his house, bad-mouthing him to neighbors, and destroying his property. Newmar claimed she was the victim of Belushi and had been suffering for many years, ever since he moved next door to her. In January 2006, the two announced they had settled their differences out-of-court, and later that year Newmar guest-starred on an episode of According to Jim ("The Grumpy Guy") that poked fun at the feud by having Newmar play a neighbor who annoys Belushi's character.
