We have our first Wiener of the New Year!!

this week by a mere minute with the correct answer...
Emmitt Perry, Jr...aka Tyler "Madea" Perry.

I must have been living under a rock.....

but I had no clue to who he/she was until New Years Eve when we watched

"Madea's Big Happy Family" and although it is not Oscar quality....

I can guarantee you a couple of laughing fits

where you won't be able to suck in enough air to live another day.

-"Hellur!?" Tyler earned 130 million dollars last year topping

Forbes' list of highest paid men entertainers!

-Dad was constantly beating him as a kid....

which led him to change his name from Emmitt to Tyler

when he was 16 years old....to further distance himself from his Dad.

-Molested by a family member as a child...

and found out that his Dad had molested one of his friends.

-Never graduated from High School....but did obtain his GED.

-After watching an Oprah episode about the therapeutic benefits that creative writing had....he started writing and decided that this would be his future.

-Had a small role in a Star Trek film after being invited by director J.J. Abrams.

Think I will delve deeper into the Madea catalog this weekend.
