--Stopped in his hometown of Winterset Iowa earlier this week.
--3 wives....all of Latin descent.
--Converted to Roman Catholicism just before his death.
--Was a mean drunk....so all of his filming was done "before Noon" to avoid confrontation.
--6-pack a day cigarette smoker....
which led to lung and stomach cancer.
--Gave a great drunken commencement speech to a College ROTC group where he invented one of my favorite words.....
